Tomorrow- Felix Hernandez vs A.J. Burnett Saturday- Doug Fister vs CC Sabathia Sunday- Joba Chamberlain vs Ian Snell Tomorrow is a interesting game because it is Felix Hernandez, this is the type of pitcher the Yankees will be facing in the playoffs and it will be interesting to see how A.J. reacts to this. Will he step up and be a solid #2 that the Yankees need or will he continue to struggle. The other two games the Yankees seem to have an advantage, I would hope they can get 2 out of 3 in this series before heading off to the house of horrows that is Angel Stadium.

The New York Yankees end a 7 game homestand and also a 3 game series with the Toronto Blue Jays this afternoon. They will embark on a 3 city 10 game, 11 day roadtrip starting tomorrow in Seattle. Tonight is 2 guys with similar stats and tomorrow seems to be a toss up, even though the Yankees are 2-0 in Mitres starts he isn't great but he has been good enough. A.J. Burnett vs John Danks is a pretty good matchup also. The Yankees will try and win 3 out of 4 but would accept a split on the road, this could be a tough 4 game series.

It would be nice for the Yankees to get off on the right foot tonight and pound Livan Hernandez and then also whoever pitches tomorrow before facing Johan Santana. A.J. Burnett needs to get it going and it would be nice for him to beat a great pitcher in Johan Santana and then get him going.
