Notes from the Yankees minor league game

CC Sabathia pitched and threw 5 innings giving up 7 hits, 1 run, 1 walk and 3k. He threw 81 pitches, 51 for strikes. The good thing is now his next start he should be up to 95 and then be ready to go after that. The more important news of the day was the Jorge Posada was catching and threw out 3 of 4 base stealers. He said his shoulder now feels 100 percent and those throws have given him great confidence. He praised CC for his slide step delivery and being quick to the plate, CC said he will be concious of doing all he can do for his catcher. The Yankees are losing 3-0 in the 6th, this may be the end of the winning streak. I will be back soon with the recap of the Yankees game.
