The Yankees take on the Twins at 7:00PM tonight at the Stadium for a start of a big 10 game homestand, the Yankees have to take advantage of homefield and hopefully the crowds will be more into it and make the Yankees feel more at home. Johnny Damon is looking to extend his streak to 11 straight games with a run scored and extra base hit. If he gets a extra base hit he will break the record of Paul O'Neill and Don Mattingly that he shares with them now.
The Big story of course is A-rod as he makes his stadium debut tonight. He hit the ball well yesterday even though he had nothing to show for it, if it was at home he probably would of had 2 homeruns. I am guessing the crowd gives him a standing ovation. They are 4-2 since he came back and his presence alone makes them better. Here is the lineup:
Jeter(SS)
Damon(LF)
Tex(1B)
A-rod(3B)
Matsui(DH)
Swisher(RF)
Cano(2B)
Cabrera(CF)
Cash(C)
