Yankees at Jays

Here are some notes and the lineup for tonight via Peter Abraham of the Journal News and the Lohud Yankees blog. The Yankees will look to bounce back after losing to Doc Halladay last night as usual. The Yankees are 5-12 against the AL East which is not good. I know they are in the toughest division but that is just bad and has to get better. Johnny Damon is 15 of 33 with 15 rbi and 10 extra base hits. He has at least one extra base hit in 8 straight games. Ramiro Pena is 11 of his last 33. The Yankees are 2-13 when they make an error in a somewhat wierd stat. The Yankees have the fifth worst run differential in baseball at -25, San Diego, Baltimore, Washington and Arizona are the only teams that are worse. Andy is 17-11 with a 4.19 era career in 35 starts against Toronto. He is 12-5 4.04 in the Rogers Centre. Nick Swisher is 3 for his last 25 with 14 strikeouts. Derek Jeter must be pretty banged up if he is missing 2 straight games. Here is the lineup: Damon(DH) Swisher(RF) Tex(1B) A-rod(3B) Cano(2B) Cabrera(LF) Gardner(CF) Pena(SS) Cervelli(C)
