On Andy Petitte-"They didn't like our offer and we aren't happy with what they want,anything is possible." On other owners being critical of the Yankees spending-"If some owners are upset we invest in our team, im not going to lose sleep over it." This is one of my favorite quotes, i agree who cares what anyone says, i like being the big bad Yankees a lot better then them not spending and missing the playoffs.
