Regular Season Game 6-Yankees at Rays

The New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays will play the rubber game of their 3 game series. The Rays won the first game on Friday night by the score of 9-3 and the Yankees won yesterday by the score of 10-0. Here are the lineups and the game notes. Yankees Lineup: Jeter(SS) Johnson(DH) Teixeira(1B) Rodriguez(3B) Cano(2B) Posada(C) Granderson(CF) Swisher(RF) Gardner(LF) A.J. Burnett is the starting pitcher making his second start of the season. He got a no decision in his first start. Phil Hughes pitched in an extended spring game yesterday. He threw 84 pitches in his final tuneup before his first start on Thursday. The Yankees will play 32 of their first 51 games against teams that had a winning record in 2009. The Yankees start their home schedule on Tuesday with the opener against the Angels. They had the majors best winning percentage at home last year. They were 57-24 which is a 704 winning percentage. They topped the AL in attendance for the 7th straight year.
