The Mets could not win their third straight over the Padres. The Mets have won the first two out of three with the last game to be played on Thursday afternoon. The Mets are back to 500 at 58-58. The Mets starting pitching has been shaky in this series. The Padres are not a good hitting team so this should be of some concern.
