In the first Rasmus hit an RBI triple, Gomez hit an RBI double and Valbuena hit a two run double.  Gonzalez added an RBI single and it was 5-0 before the Yankees even batted.  In the fifth the Astros added four more runs.  Gattis hit a two run homerun, Gonzalez hit a solo homerun and Lowrie reached on an error and a run scored to make it 9-0 Astros.  In the seventh Rasmus earned an RBI walk, Gattis hit a two run single and Gomez hit a three run homerun to make it 15-0 Astros.  The Yankees scored their only run in the ninth inning on a Bird RBI groundout.  The Yankees offense hasn't been doing anything lately and this was a game where the pitching was also bad.  The two teams will play game three of their three game series on Wednesday afternoon which will also be the rubber game.
