Grapefruit League Game 24-Tigers at Yankees

The New York Yankees will be hosting the Detroit Tigers this afternoon at George M. Steinbrenner Field. The weather forecast is calling for rain but we will see if they get this game in. Andy Pettitte is starting and he has been dealing with rain all spring. Here is the lineup for todays game. The Yankees have their A lineup in and now as we mark one week until opening day the Yankees should have this pretty much every day this week. Alfredo Aceves, Mariano Rivera, Damaso Marte, Royce Ring and Boone Logan are also scheduled to pitch. The Yankees play the last of 5 spring games against the Tigers today. They defeated them 2-1 yesterday and are 3-1 against the Tigers this spring. This is only Andy Pettittes second official start of the spring. He has pitched in intrasquad games. He allowed 2 runs ininngs in his only start against the Phillies.
