Jose Reyes closer to returning

The New York Mets defeated the Florida Marlins by the score of 7-6 today. They also got good news when Jose Reyes took live batting practice and looked good. He is likely to run the bases next and then play in a minor league game. The Mets won't say if he will be ready for opening day or not, I am not sure if they really know. Jon Niese got the start and pitched 4 2/3 innings giving up 6 hits and 4 runs, 3 of them were earned. He had 3 walks and 3 strikeouts.Bobby Parnell pitched 1 inning giving up 2 hits and 1 run. Jenrry Mejia pitched a inning giving up a hit and a run, Pedro Feliciano pitched a inning giving up a hit and 0 runs with 2 strikeouts. Fernando Nieve pitched a inning giving up a hit and 0 runs with a strikeout. Pedro Feliciano wants to be the 8th inning guy but he is too valuable as a lefty specialist.
