Yanks win third in a row

A.J. Burnett didn't have his best stuff tonight but he battled through 7 innings leaving the game in a 4-4 tie. Phil Coke came in for the 8th and had a 1-2-3 inning and Mo got the save in the ninth. Johnny Damon had a solo homerun, Robinson Cano extended his hitting streak to 17 games and Melky Cabrera had a big RBI hit in the eight as well as Ramiro Pena having a 2 run double for his first 2 RBI of his major league career. Derek Jeter broke out of his slump with 2 hits and a walk and RBI. Mark Teixeira had a double and a walk and Hideki Matsui had a rbi single. Jorge Posada had a hit and Nick Swisher had a hit and 2 walks. Everyone in the Yankees lineup had at least one hit. The Yankees will try and make it two in a row tomorrow with Andy Pettitte taking the hill against the Angels best pitcher right now Jered Weaver who the Yankees usually hit. I will be at the game and may do some live blogging from the stadium.
