The New York Mets were defeated by the Washington Nationals on Thursday afternoon.  The game took place at The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches in West Palm Beach, Florida and the final score was 1-0.  Robert Gsellman started for the Mets and he pitched well.  The Mets only had four hits and no player had more than a hit.

Asdrubal Cabrera had a hit, Ty Kelly had a hit and Yoenis Cespedes had a hit.  Xorge Carrillo had a hit and the Mets were 0-4 with runners in scoring position and left four men on base.  Cabrera committed an error.

In the third Anthony Rendon hit an RBI double to give the Nationals a 1-0 lead and that would be the only scoring in the game.
